Cultivar Wines built its name on bold, full-bodied Napa Valley cabs. Now, they will be foraying into San Francisco with a new wine bar, slated to open this month via SFGate.
With Cultivar, owners Jody Harris and Gingy Harris Gable seek to highlight not only Cultivar wines, but also emerging Napa Valley winemakers such as Relic, Matthiason, and Beckstoffer vineyards. Of course, Cultivar wines will be available in a plethora of options — by the bottle, by the keg for large parties, and via tasting flights.
From a culinary standpoint, expect California small plate cuisine highlighting local ingredients such as Mary’s Farm organic chicken with black rice and spring onion, or oysters with seasonal kimchi.
