While coronavirus may have put a hole in our springtime wine country travel plans, here’s the silver lining: it’s also opened up some unprecedented opportunities. Wine.com just announced its latest lineup of virtual wine tastings, including some unique celebrity-studded events. The tastings are entirely free for anyone to join via Wine.com.

The May 6th tasting with John Legend will focus on his latest releases, the LVE French Sparkling Rosé and the LVE Côtes de Provence Rosé. The LVE French Sparkling Rosé ($19.99) is a fruit-forward wine made from a blend of varietals across France, including the Loire and Languedoc. The LVE Côtes de Provence Rosé ($25.99) is a light, crisp blend of 60% Grenache, 25% Cinsault, and 15% Syrah. The wines ship as soon as tomorrow from Wine.com, so can arrive on your doorstep in time for the tasting. LVE Wines is a partnership between John Legend and Napa Valley’s Raymond Vineyards.
The May 9th tasting with Lisa and Pandora Vanderpump will focus on their Rosé ($18.99), Chardonnay ($21.99), and Cabernet Sauvignon ($26.99). Vanderpump wines were started in 2016 by Lisa Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd, restaurateurs of Los Angeles’ SUR, PUMP, and Villa Blanca restaurants.
All of the Zoom virtual tastings can be joined via Wine.com. The wines all ship within one day of order on Wine.com, but those who miss the live event can easily attend a recorded version of the tasting.
