Snoop Dogg Partners with 19 Crimes to Launch New Wine

When we think of 19 Crimes, bottles depicting Australian convicts banished from 18th century England usually come to mind. So it might come as a surprise that the next face to grace the line’s labels is rapper Snoop Dogg. The wine will likely be a red blend, and should be available starting this summer.

“I’ve been a fan of this wine and I’m excited to unveil my Snoop Cali Red’ this summer and share the experience with all my fans. It’s one of the most successful brands in the market, so I’m more than eager to bring this collaboration to the world!” stated Snoop Dogg via press release.

While Snoop Dogg is most known for his music, he’s no stranger to the wine and spirits world. The rapper has made annual appearances at BottleRock Napa Valley, one of the largest wine and music festivals in the world. His 1994 hit “Gin and Juice” speaks for itself, while the lyrics of “Drop it Like It’s Hot” allude to a lifestyle that includes drinking Moët & Chandon.

John Wardley, TWE Marketing Vice President, Americas, said, “Snoop Dogg, an entertainment and California icon, is the perfect partner for 19 Crimes Snoop Cali Red. Snoop embodies the spirit of 19 Crimes – rule breaking, culture creating and overcoming adversity.  We are truly excited to partner with Snoop and welcome him to the 19 Crimes family.”
