BevMo!’s 5 Cent Wine Sale: Bigger Than Ever

Every year, you can buy wines for just a nickel during BevMo!’s 5 cent wine sale. But this October, the sale has expanded to give shoppers more options than ever before. You can now buy any wine at BevMo! for 5 cents, as long as you buy one of 600 qualifying wines of equal or greater value.

For this sale, BevMo! added fifty new wines to its 5 cent qualifying sale. These wines were selected by shoppers from a blind tasting panel of hundreds of wines. The sale is a great way to try some of BevMo!’s private label collection of wines, many of which are made in collaboration with renowned wineries.

So, which wines should you buy? Consider these steals.

Gruet Cuveé 89 Sparkling Brut ($19.95): This sparkling wine producer put New Mexico on the map for high quality Methode Champenoise wines. The Cuveé 89 line appears to be Gruet’s line created exclusively for BevMo. This is a classic, brut Champagne with notes of crisp apple and grapefruit.

Tapiz Malbec 2017 ($19.95): If you’re willing to wait a few years before drinking, Tapiz Malbec is an excellent choice. The fruit is sourced entirely from Uco Valley vineyards, a prime Malbec-growing region in Argentina. Uco Valley is known for its high altitudes, which intensify the structure and aromatics of the wine. Tapiz Malbec is no exception, with lush aromatics of plum, black cherry, and mocha.

This wine has notes of densely-packed dark fruit and warm spice, with a rich finish and wonderful complexity. Plus, the price means you can nab any other BevMo! wine under $49.95 for just 5 cents!
