Here’s What’s on the Menu at NYC’s Popup Rosé Mansion

Instagram’s most hashtagged varietal is now getting a museum of its own. That’s right: a Rosé Mansion is coming to NYC. If this sounds like another Insta-fodder gimmick, think again. A $45 ticket ($35 presale) gives you a tasting of eight rosés, equal to two glasses of wine, the opportunity to blend your own custom rosé, and an interactive tour through rosé history, winemaking, and regions.

Of course, there are the obligatory Instaworthy shots. Take a dip in a bathtub of roses, swing from a chandelier, or sit down at a bar filled with pink sand. But what has us truly excited is the rosé selection in the Grand Tasting Lounge. These drinks are not included in the ticket price, but the extensive offering literally puts a world of rosé at your fingertips. Where else can you get a Schlosskellerei Rosé from Austria, a Saperavi Cabernet Rosé from Georgia, and a Dark Horse Frozé all in the same place? Groups can enjoy some extra Insta-friendly large formats including Double Magnums (3L), Imperials (6L), and even Salamanazars (9L). There’s even a fun selection of sparkling and canned rosés.

For those who might not be able to handle more than two glasses of rosé, the rosés  included in the ticket price are already a trip around the globe. They include Apothic Rosé, Lekker Rosé from South Africa, Dr. Konstantin Frank Rosé of Pinot Noir from New York, Domaine Houchart Rosé and Maison Marcel Rosé from France, and Casteller Cava Rosé from Spain.

The Rosé Mansion was started by Second Glass (Wine Riot) event founders Morgan First and Tyler Balliet. The duo aim to create a “vacation-like journey” that puts a trip to wine country into one 14-room experience.

From June 5th-17th, 2018, tickets will be available at the matinee price of $35. Prices will rise to $45 on June 18th. Visit RoseMansion.com for details.
