Top 10 Wine-Filled Ways to Support Chefsgiving

The Napa and Sonoma wildfires have subsided, but thousands are now homeless in the aftermath. In a heartwarming show of support, hundreds of Bay Area restaurants and wineries are uniting to create ChefsGiving. From November 13-19th, ChefsGiving dinners and menu specials across the Bay will raise funds for those displaced by the wine country wildfires.

Here are our top ten ways for wine lovers to support the cause:

ChefsGiving Gala: This is the marquee event for the initiative. On Sunday, November 19th from 3-7 P.M., San Francisco Ferry Building purveyors will join together to offer up over 200 premium wines including Shafer, Silver Oak, Pride Vineyards, Peay, Cristom Vineyards and more. Tickets are $125 and also include food, cocktails, a raffle, and a live auction. Or, up the experience with an extra hour of Dom Perignon, caviar, Opus One, and foie gras with a VIP ticket at $195. Visit ChefsGiving for details.

Parigo SF: Wine geeks will enjoy discovering obscure and emerging varietals paired with three courses, all for the ChefsGiving cause. For just $85, experience a hamachi crudo with Faire la Fete Cremant de Limoux, a little gem salad with quail egg and goat milk feta with 2016 Mayu Pedro Ximenez, and a Snake River Farms Flat Iron Steak with 2014 Chateau Barrejat Madiran.
