Giuliana Rancic Launches New Prosecco

Some celebrity wines come as a surprise. But one that should not is Giuliana Rancic’s new Prosecco. The E! host, actress, and entrepreneur is already a veteran in the wine business, with her own line of single-serve wines, Xo, G. Rancic is also co-owner of the renowned Chicago-based RPM Restaurants with her husband, Bill.

So why Prosecco? Rancic moved to the U.S. at age 7 from Naples, Italy. Now, at age 43, Rancic is ready to return to her Italian roots. She wanted a wine that was approachable, affordable, and high-quality enough to serve at RPM Restaurants.

Giuliana is DOC-grade Prosecco made with 100% Glera grapes, which are cold macerated and then stainless steel-fermented. At just $14.99 per bottle, Giuliana Prosecco delivers fresh aromas of golden apple, pear, and acacia blossom, making the perfect aperitif — or, in Rancic’s case, a celebratory sip while getting red carpet-ready.

Giuliana Prosecco was created in partnership with Terlato, a luxury wine importer with over 80 global brands. “Prosecco as a category has exploded in the US over the last few years and now makes up almost a third (31.5%) of US sparkling wine volume, surpassing Champagne,” said Bill Terlato, CEO of Terlato Wines.

Expect to see Giuliana Prosecco at more locations nationwide in the near future. Until then, the wine is available for purchase on Uncorked.com or Wine.com.
