Former Love & Hip Hop star-turned-lifestyle entrepreneur Apryl Jones is stepping into the world of wine. But Apryl Wines isn’t just your ordinary celebrity wine. It’s a “socially-driven” wine collection created with an intent to empower women.

While the socially-driven angle isn’t fully clear, it does appear that Jones is serving the wines during the events she holds to empower “phenomenal mothers” and women throughout the year. For example, Jones held a W.I.N.O.S. Writing Workshop (for “women in need of sanity”) and awarded a lakefront wine cruise for a few lucky mothers within her group.

Apryl Wines currently has two signature wines, a Dry Red Wine (Bordeaux blend) and a White Wine, along with a Semi-Sweet Red Wine and a Chardonnay. The signature wines are named A’Mei La Vie, meaning life is beautiful, and also in honor of her younger daughter A’Mei.
