Petit Marlowe, Now Open and Serving Rosé Ice Cream

SF has a new wine bar and restaurant: Petit Marlowe in SoMa. As a joint venture from the Big Night restaurant group, Petit Marlowe pretty much comes with a guarantee of deliciousness. Chef Jenn Puccio is a veteran of the group’s Marlowe, The Cavalier, and Park Tavern locations, all of which are renowned for perfectly prepared dishes and warm hospitality.

The biggest difference between Petit Marlowe and its cousins? It’s your pre- or post-dinner drinks and light bites, rather than a full meal. The restaurant’s French bistro menu offers seasonal salads, tartines, and raw bar platters. The wine list is curated with unique, light- to medium-bodied varietals such as Carricante from Etna, Counoise from California, and Trousseau from Côtes de Jura. Of course, no wine bar today would be complete without a sparkling rosé, and Petit Marlowe delivers with its own custom “Big Night Bubbles”. This non-vintage Cremant de Bourgogne Brut Rosé was a custom collaboration with Maison Vitteaut-Alberti.

Another exciting menu item for wine lovers is tucked into the dessert section: a ‘Chef Pink’ Rosé Ice Cream made in collaboration with Scribe Winery and Smitten Ice Cream.
