Sam’s Club is Going Into Wine

Watch out, Costco — via Refinery29, Sam’s Club is going into wine. The mass grocery retailer is going the way of Kirkland Signature and launching its own line of wines under the Sam’s Club Member’s Mark label. The wines are priced at around $8, and are currently available only in-store. The wine launch is part of a larger brand refresh for the Member’s Mark line, with a bolder look and increased focus on quality.

So, in case you happen to be thirsty in a Sam’s Club — which are the best of the Member’s Mark wines? So far, the 2015 Mosel Riesling appears to be the winner, with an average rating of 3.7 on Vivino. Next up are the Sauvignon Blanc and Red Blend wines, which have decent 3.4 star rating.

On the other hand, the Cabernet Sauvignon clocks in at just a 3.0 rating. You may want to hang tight for the Napa Valley Cabernet that should be releasing soon. Other wines to look forward include a value Champagne and Prosecco.
