Easter Events in Wine Country

If you’re looking to break the Easter brunch routine, or you’re a parent who misses visiting wine country, Easter might just be your golden opportunity.

Here are a few Napa and Sonoma vineyards opening their doors for Easter:

For Adults:
Siduri Wine Lounge
If Easter brunch for pinot lovers existed, this would be it. Via SonomaCounty.com, award-winning Siduri Winemaker Adam Lee will be pairing four wines with a farm-to-table menu featuring fresh ingredients from local farms. The brunch is by reservation only from 11 A.M. – 2 P.M., see site for details.

Hess Collection Winery
Hess will celebrate Easter with the release of its Small Block Series Syrah Rosé, along with an elevated small bites tasting. $55 per person, email events@hesscollection.com to make a reservation.

Kids Welcome:
Larson Family Winery
Living up to its name, Larsen is a family affair welcoming both kids and dogs on its property. An Easter bunny will circulate with treats, while guests sip wine on the picnic-style benches. See site for details.

Francis Ford Coppola Winery
If you can’t stand the sight of another Easter bunny, Francis Ford Coppola winery might just be the thing. On Saturday, April 15th, Coppola will have an animal show, face painting, and arts and craft stations. Tickets are $12 for kids. See site for details.

West Wines
Hike the vineyards of West Winery free with a wine tasting. During the hike, a guide will quiz guests on their wine and vineyard knowledge. Children are welcome, and will be treated to their own animal and plant trivia, along with a “jelly beans and apple juice pairing”. See site for details.

But before going to wine country, plan ahead: many vineyards are closed during Easter. Here are a few lists below; call ahead for those not listed.
