Planning a trip to Hong Kong? Perrier-Jouet Blanc de Blancs might be the new souvenir to take home.
Perrier-Jouet has historically been known for its Grand Brut. This is a blend of both blanc de noirs and blanc de blancs — in other words, Champagne made from both red and white grapes. But since it owns grand cru vineyards of Cramant and Avizé in the Côte des Blancs, the most sought-after Chardonnay district of Champagne, it only makes sense that Perrier Jouet would focus on a dedicated Blanc de Blancs cuvee.
The only catch? Via RetailInAsia, it sounds like the dedicated Blanc de Blancs Cuvee is currently launching in Asia only. The launch was themed as a “Garden of Wonder” popup at both the Pacific Place shopping mall and The Conrad Poolside. It included influencers in the fashion and arts space, along with a video installation from digital artist Miguel Chevalier.
The new blanc de blancs does not appear to be on sale yet in the United States. We’ll just have to keep an eye out here at The Wine Daily — stay tuned!
