Tomorrow, March 21st, all Carrabbas’ restaurants will be joining up to host the “world’s largest wine dinner”, via PRNewswire. It will involve 7,000 guests and 4,000 bottles of wine across 247 restaurants nationwide. While not an official event in partnership with the Guinness Book of World Records, this is certainly the largest event we know of to date.
It sounds like a pretty delicious way to set a record — for just $40, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy four courses. On the menu:
- Insalata Fiorucci with hazelnut-crusted goat cheese, paired with Chloe Pinot Grigio, Italy
- Calabrian Cavatappi with creamy burrata, paired with Pieropan Soave, Italy
Veal Marsala or Tuscan-Grilled Sirloin, paired with Sequoia Grove Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley - Sogno di Cioccolata brownie with chocolate mousse, paired with Joel Gott Zinfandel, California
The dinner is intended to serve as the official launch of the new wine menu. In addition to the World’s Largest Wine Dinner, Carrabbas’ will also have special ongoing initiatives allowing guests to sample more of their wine list. These include a Festival of Wine Flights from around the world, paired with a small plate, a special menu with wine pairing suggestions, and seasonal wines, some of which are exclusive to the restaurant.
Those interested in the World’s Largest Wine Dinner are encouraged to call their local Carrabbas’ for details.
