Maison Corbeaux, Rare Wine Trove, Now Open in SF

Seekers of rare vintage wines and whiskies in San Francisco now have a new outlet at Maison Corbeaux. SFGate announced today that Maison Corbeaux is now open in the former London Market space (2901 Sacramento St.). From more popular names like Napa icon Opus One, to more hidden finds such as an Scacciadiavoli Montefalco Sagrantino from Umbria, expect a selection of highly-allocated, in-demand wines.

Unlike the other Maison Corbeaux in the Financial District, this establishment will not be tucked into fancy menswear retailer Wingtip. Instead, the new Maison Corbeaux will simply be an expanded version of the other store, with over 1,000 wines and spirits. It also seeks to bring a “restaurant level of service,” spearheaded by wine buyer Michael Hildbold. Hildbold was a former sommelier at the Ritz Carlton, and subsequently wine buyer at the Wingtip.

Between wines from Hildbold, spirits curated by General Manager Kyle Nadeau, and a selection of rare beers curated by buyer Scott Jeffrey, your bases are covered for a gift that will wow any aficionado.
