Food delivery has been around for quite awhile, but wine delivery remains a nascent industry. DoorDash and BevMo! are starting to change that with the announcement of a new alcohol delivery partnership in Los Angeles and San Francisco today via PR Newswire.
The new partnership will cover over 600 top-selling wines, beers, spirits, mixers, and specialty foods.
To note, DoorDash isn’t new to the wine scene. It has already been delivering alcohol within California, Texas, Chicago, and Miami since June of 2016. For example, in San Francisco, residents can order from Biondivino Wine Boutique and SoMa Wines and Spirits.
