Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon
Where: Lake Buena Vista, Florida
When: November 5, 2017
Approximate Number of Finishers: 12,000
What makes it cool: This is not a race where you will be bored or go hungry. The course winds through the Walt Disney World® Resort, Disney characters will cheer you on (and provide welcome distraction). Post-race, runners can refuel at a Post-Race Party at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival with cuisines from over 30 Global Marketplaces.

Fueled by Fine Wine Half Marathon
Where: Dundee, Oregon
When: July 9, 2017
Approximate Number of Finishers: 1,200
What makes it cool: A large portion of the run follows unpaved vineyard trails, giving runners a uniquely scenic offroad experience. Afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to sample pinot noir from over 20 Dundee Hill AVA wineries.

Healdsburg Wine Country Half Marathon
Where: Healdsburg, California
When: October 28, 2017
Approximate Number of Finishers: 2,500
What makes it cool: This half marathon gives runners beautiful views of the fall foliage in Dry Creek and Alexander Valley. For more casual runners interested in a more festive experience, they can show off their best Halloween costumes at the Hallowine 5K component of the event. The race ends in a Wine & Music Festival featuring 12-30 local wineries and breweries

Napa to Sonoma Half Marathon
Where: Cuvaison Carneros Winery
When: July 16, 2017
Races are capped out at anywhere from 3500
What makes it cool: This is one of the largest post-race wine festivals around, with the opportunity to taste from over 20 local Sonoma wineries and breweries. For those who want a more luxe experience, the event even offers a VIP package that includes a stay with the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, guided winery visits, and pre-race dinner at a local winery.

Texas Wine Series
Where: Various locations in Texas
When: March – October 2017
What makes it cool: With a slew of recent wins at the SF Chronicle Wine Competition, Texas wines are officially on the scene. The Texas Wine Series now lets you get a taste of Texas wines after you get your run in. This series offer a variety of runs, ranging from a run at the award-winning Flat Creek Estate to a run that ends in a Texas Wine Festival with 6 participating wineries.

Wicked Wine Run
Where: Nationwide
When: March – September 2017
What makes it cool: This 5K is one of the only times you’ll ever run through a vineyard while dressed up in a Halloween costume. The races are across vineyards nationwide, from Paraiso in Monterey AVA, CA to Stoller Family Vineyards in Yamhill Carlton AVA, CA. Everything ends in an afterparty with food trucks, live band, and of course, it wouldn’t be a wine run without wine.
